SAME PLACE ANOTHER TIME My debut short play, Looking for Eanswythe, is included in an evening of new drama at the Quarterhouse Theatre, Tontine Street, Folkestone on  Saturday 25th June at 7.30pm . This comedy drama tells the story of Princess Eanswythe (later Saint Eanswythe) who founded the first convent in England in 630AD while still a teenager.  The daughter of Eadbald, King of Kent, she was a determined woman and  became one of the most significant figures in the early church. All the short plays are  Folkestone based and written and acted by members of the Word on the Street project. Tickets are free but booking is essential: 01303 760750. Treat yourself to some enjoyable drama by the seaside, in a modern, accessible theatre with a stylish bar. Hope you can make it, Patric Cunnane https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Eanswith https://www.quarterhouse.co. uk/ Attachments area
