The Palm Tree Gallery is thrilled to
introduce the work of Irish artist,
Aileen McGee. In her solo exhibition,
Elemental, McGee draws from her
immediate surroundings. In particular
the precarious and impermanent
moments created by the interaction
of light and shadow and the negative
space created  by this collision between
 nature and the man-made.

McGee comments on urban environment
and the dance between chaos and calm.
Her interest lies in the physical
experience of time, movement,
 displacement and how these
 impact and disrupt our perception
of the world. Line, texture
and colour move along the canvas to
create a beautiful balance of energy
that could change at any moment.
