Francisco Gomez de Villaboa

Sadly I got  my invite to this show, which was only on for one day, to late to tell people about it in advance, but I recommend keeping an eye out for any future exhibitions of Francisco Gomez de Villaboa's work. The images he made for this show were a stunning commentary on the impact of austerity politics. His photographs seemed to often reference Spanish History and artists such as Velasqueza and Goya. Leftie politics nerds might also be fascinated by an image of ex-Green Left supremo Joseph Healy portrayed as an especially austere Victorian capitalist.

Francisco has a website at http://gomezdevillaboa.com/
