BAR gets Creative for Carnival
BAR gets Creative for Carnival 2013 – 
The first exhibition to be held at the New Brent Council Civic Centre, 
Engineers Way, Wembley HA9 0FJ.  
The three large collage pieces, created at the workshops on Queens Park day, 
look stunning set against the mat grey concrete walls in this impressive building

- Gabriel Parfitt (Director of Harlesdon Gallery) is a new BAR Director


Welcome to Laurie Cesek Our
New Bar Coordinator

Laurie has joined us as the new BAR Coordinator, bringing with her a wealth
of experience in exhibitions and arts programming. She is also Curator of Arts 
and Culture for a regeneration charity in Newham. Previously she has worked 
in Contemporary Exhibitions at The Victoria and Albert Museum and Community 
Arts in Deptford. Laurie is an Art Theory MA Graduate from Goldsmiths University 
and a History of Art BA Graduate from The University of Leeds.

Laurie will be coordinating our arts programme and is contactable on
