Call for artists! RWA Sculpture Open Exhibition
Call for artists! RWA Sculpture Open Exhibition
Submissions open 3 Jan - 7 Feb
Calling all artists! Don’t miss your
chance to take part in the RWA Sculpture Open Exhibition 2019. The event
provides an opportunity for artists at any stage of their career to showcase
their work alongside big names from the art world, and to present their work to
the many keen art buyers who attend our Open Exhibitions.
We welcome submissions from sculptors
of any background, working in any medium, and encourage both freestanding
and wall-based sculptural works. The Sculpture Open Exhibition reflects the
RWA’s ongoing commitment to championing world-class art in the region and
creating opportunities for new and emerging talent.
To submit, login to our OESS
system here.
This year’s selection panel comprises
of internationally-known sculptors Ann
Christopher RA, Daphne Wright and Kate MccGwire,
Artistic Director of New Art Centre at Roche Court Stephen
Feeke and RWA Academicians Ian
Middleton, Simon Hitchens and Dallas Collins.
We're also pleased to announce that
our Invited Artist will be Brazilian sculptor, painter and printmaker Ana Maria Pacheco.
Submissions open from Thursday 3
January – Thursday 7 February 2019 via
the OESS System, which can be accessed by clicking here. Students and Friends of the RWA will
be able to enter for a discounted rate. For submission prices please see
the Exhibition
Guidance Document. The exhibition will take place from 16 March – 2
June 2019.
Please note that the Sculpture Open
is a one-stage selection process: all works must be entered online and then, if
selected online, delivered to the RWA.
